The tour guides were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. Vivian had her own 'private' ride in the wheelchair to the bus, eliminating the need for her to climb steps. The cemetery contain the remains of astronaut Ellison Onizuka, and WWII journalist Ernie Pyle. Ernie Pile is the only civilian buried at the Punchbowl.
